Kedah state secretary Datuk Bakar Din announced Bakar Bata state assemblyman Datuk Ahmad Bashah Md Hanipah (pic) as the new menteri besar of Kedah

Kedah state secretary Datuk Bakar Din announced Bakar Bata state assemblyman Datuk Ahmad Bashah Md Hanipah as the new menteri besar of Kedah following the resignation of Datuk Seri Mukhriz Tun Mahathir today.

Ahmad is expected to be sworn-in as the menteri besar at Istana Anak Bukit, Alor Setar at 10am tomorrow.
