A decision on whether PAS will maintain it's 'tahaluf siyasi' or political cooperation with Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) will be decided at the 63rd PAS Muktamar (Assembly), said PAS vice president Datuk Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah.
He said the delegates would debate on the matter should the party receive motions on parting with PKR at the assembly.
"If the 'muktamar' decides to part our 'tahaluf' (with PKR), then we have to accept it and we will act according to the decision. However, should the 'muktamar' decide to stay, then we do as per normal.
"It's just that there might be a new discussion on seat (allocation) if status quo remain," he told reporters after attending the opening of the 13th Session of the Kelantan State Legislative Assembly at the Kota Darul Naim Complex here, Monday.
The commencement of the fifth term of the session was officiated by the Regent of Kelantan Tengku Dr Muhammad Faiz Petra.
The 63rd PAS Muktamar will be held from April 27 to May 1 in Kedah.
