The DAP has blamed PAS for the Opposition's failure to wrestle the Kuala Kangsar parliamentary seat in the June 18 by-election.
"PAS should stop helping UMNO to break votes," said DAP Perak chairman Nga Kor Ming.
He said the failure was because of PAS' insistence to field its candidate in the by-election and not cooperating with other parties.
He claimed he had earlier told PAS not to contest and further weaken the Pakatan Harapan.
Nga said although Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) garnered only 4,883 votes through its candidate Dr Ahmad Termizi Ramli, it carried a strong message to PAS.
"This is a moral victory," he said when contacted.
In the by-election, BN's candidate Datin Mastura Mohd Yazid garnered 12,653 votes, followed by PAS' Dr Najihatussalehah Ahmad (5,684) and Amanah (4,883) while Independent candidate Izat Bukhary Ismail Bukhary garnered 54 votes.
