Safee Sali's 'death' a hoax

Based on the image, it was as if the 'news' was posted on the media's Facebook page.
Rumours that Johor Darul Ta'zim player Safee Sali has died is not true.
The confirmation came from the official Twitter account of the JOHOR Southern Tigers, which was posted at 4.23pm today to explain the situation.
"The rumour saying JDT player Safee Sali has died is NOT TRUE," said the tweet.

Khabar angin yang mengatakan bahawa pemain JDT, Safee Sali meninggal dunia adalah TIDAK BENAR.

Earlier today, a screen capture of an image purportedly from a local news portal claiming that the 32-year-old has died was widely shared on social media, including WhatsApp.
Based on the image, it was as if the 'news' was posted on the media's Facebook page.
