FOOTBALL fans expressed their amazement over a stunning free kick from Penang’s Mohd Faiz Subri during the Super League clash at the Stadium Bandaraya Pulau Pinang on Tuesday night.

The free kick took place during 62nd minute when the ball swerved from left to right before landing inside the goal post.

Social media were abuzz over the free kick, including a tweet from Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng.

Mirror's headline asked if this free kick should be awarded with the Puskas FIFA Award.

Faiz Subri's free kick on Tuesday night attracted coverage from the international press, including a mention on Mirror.

During the match on Tuesday night, Penang defeated Pahang 4-1.
