Second-generation CEO and Executive Chairman Andrew Khoo has set out a transformation plan to bring MUI?s relevance back to the market after years of languishing performance. Among others, MUI is making rapid expansion into China and Australia through Laura Ashley while converting some of its hotel assets to Laura Ashley-branded tea rooms and spas.
