Race to the moon

A group of Malaysians are now the only South-East Asian team to participate in the Google Lunar X prize competition. The aim of the competition is to challenge and inspire engineers, entrepreneurs and innovators from around the world to develop low-cost methods of robotic space exploration. The competition requires participants to do 3 things which are...first to land a robotic spacecraft on the moon. Second have it travel 500 meters and. Third transmit high-definition (HD) video and images back to earth. In the studio we have Mohd Izmir Yamin who is part of Independence X a team of 14 local aerospace engineers and are among the 15 finalists in the global competition.
