For almost two decades, BMW M and MotoGP have had a solid partnership with BMW providing their performance cars to play the safety keeper for the sport. Throughout the years, the partnership has grown and is set to continue to run well into the future with Dorna Sport extending their cooperation up to 2020.
For the 2016 MotoGP season, BMW M looks to implement the latest technology in order to guarantee the safety of the MotoGP riders in every condition. So the company has deployed their latest introduction to the fore, the M2 will now play the MotoGP’s Safety Car.

Each BMW M2 MotoGP Safety Car has been sent back to the BMW M factory to be specially modified for the use as the lead cars on the motorcycle racing scene. Complete with its special livery, the M2 is looking better than ever! A sure steal if the car is ever put on sale!
The first MotoGP race will start on 20th March 2016. Tune in to catch the awesome looking BMW M2 in action as it plays the safety keeper!
