The death of 25-year-old student Soleha Abd Rahman, who fell 60m into a ravine while hiking at Bukit Tabur, has put the focus on the dangers of this particular climb.
She and seven others were said to have started the climb at about 8am when she slipped and fell while they were ascending to check point 11 at a height of about 470 metres above sea level.
The victim died upon arrival at the hospital.
