Mourinho called Carneiro 'naive' when she rushed into the pitch to treat Eden Hazard.
Following the sacking of Jose Mourinho, Chelsea fans flooded the social media with hashtags #evacarneiro and #evacarneirokarma.
Although the sacking came in as no surprise to them, some believe that the 'curse' surrounding the club was partially due to the bad treatment Mourinho gave to the team's former doctor, Dr Eva Carneiro.
The heat between Mourinho and Carneiro sparked early this season, when the club's medical team, led by Carneiro, rushed into the field to treat Eden Hazard during the opening game against Swansea.

That Eva Carneiro incident was a true downfall for #Mourinho. He must learn to keep cool sometimes. Bt der's no1 better dan him at managing.

Mourinho lost support within/outside @ChelseaFC after his bust-up with former club doctor Eva Carneiro during the 2-2 draw with Swansea.

#Mourinho downfall led from the abusive behaviour towards #EvaCarneiro. His arrogant outburst suggested he thought he was untouchable.

Quietly, with a warm smile you only get from a job well done, Eva Carneiro puts the voodoo dolls back in the cupboard. #Mourinho #CFC

Karma. If only Mourinho apologised to Eva Carneiro for his outburst Chelsea wouldn't be where they are now. #MourinhoSacked #EvaCarneiro

Mourinho said he believed Hazard's injury wasn't serious and that Carneiro was 'naive' to interrupt the game's momentum, especially when they were already down to 10 men at the moment.
It became the starting point where the players, especially the senior ones, started to butt head with Mourinho.
But reports stated that Carneiro and her team was summoned into the pitch by the referee.
Chelsea former defender, Graeme Le Saux, supported Carneiro and said she was only doing her job.
"Priorities are not always right when it comes to protocol," Le Saux told Daily Mail in August.
The row had forced Carneiro to leave Chelsea in September.
Regarded as one of the best football managers in the world, Mourinho had also managed Real Madrid, Porto and Internazionale, to name a few.
