A company manager has lodged a police report claiming to have lost RM512,000 after being deceived into buying an Approved Permit (AP) for bauxite which actually did not exist.

Datuk Seri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar said the ministry would not entertain any appeals or requests to interfere with MACC's ongoing investigations.

The remand order for a Royal Malaysian Customs Department senior officer to facilitate investigations into illegal bauxite mining has been extended to Aug 13.
