LBS Bina Group Bhd plans to launch 22 housing projects in the Klang Valley, Pahang, Johor and Perak with a combined gross development value (GDV) of RM3 billion, says Managing Director Datuk Lim Hock San.

He said the projects would consist of some 5,600 residential units, including 2,300 units of affordable housing costing below RM400,000 each.

Over the next 12 months, the developer will build about 2,500 units of medium-high houses with an estimated GDV of RM1.1 billion and 160 high-end homes with a GDV of RM360 million.

The remaining 600 units will be developed in its existing projects. Lim was confident demand for properties in Malaysia would remain strong as prices were still competitive.

"(If) We have the right product and right pricing, then these houses will sell," he told a press conference to announce the group's direction for this year.
