BEVERLY HILLS: With a record nine nominations, it was no surprise that HBO's boardroom drama 'Succession' emerged victorious again at the Golden Globes Awards by taking home the best TV drama.

Not only that, the highly-acclaimed series also prevailed in three other acting categories.

Lead actors Kieran Culkin and Sarah Snook won their respective categories while supporting actor Matthew Macfadyen earned his category's top honours, giving the show a total of four awards, the most for any TV series on the night.

The show, which portrayed a dysfunctional American global media family ended its four-season run last May.
