Wings 'Undistorted' concert on Sunday saw the legendary rock band also performing a number of hit songs made popular by their contemporaries such as Lefthanded, Blues Gang and Kembara.

Wings' warmed up the crowd with covers of Ku Di Halaman Rindu (Lefthanded), Ibu (Blues Gang) and Hati Emas (Kembara) at the start of the set.

The tribute segment was also one of the highlights of the night at the Plenari Hall, PICC Putrajaya and received rapturous applause from the crowd.

Awie stayed true to form all night with his powerful vocals while Joe’s trademark riffing on the guitar made it a memorable occasion for "Rock Kapak" fans both young and old.

Selecting PICC as the concert venue turned out to be spot on for the band as the lighting and acoustics of the hall were top notch.

Awie, who expressed his gratefulness for the fans that turned up that night, said the concert was one of the bands' biggest since they formed 28 years ago.

He, however, added that he was disappointed with the piracy issues that have plagued ‘Menakluk Kosmos’, the bands' latest release.

They had also played 'Ingatkan Dia' and 'Peti Pandoramu', from the album but some fans expressed their disappointment that 'staples' such as 'Sejati', 'Taman Rashidah Utama' and 'Rantai' were only played at the end of the gig.

In addition to Joe and Awie, the Wings line-up had also featured Eddie (bass), Black (drums), and sessionists Lee Sze Wan (piano), Hillary Ang (guitar), Edrie Hashim (guitar), Mozihan Tukimon (guitar) and Izat (percussions).

Perbadanan Putrajaya President Tan Sri Aseh Che Mat was also in attendance at the concert.
