MCA Youth National Chairman Chong Sin Woon said DAP advisor Lim Kit Siang should focus on Parti Keadilan Rakyat's (PKR) abuse of democracy instead of slandering MCA.

Chong in a statement on Monday said, Kit Siang had gone too far in constantly accusing MCA of misleading UMNO over Teresa Kok’s “Onederful Malaysia CNY 2014” video.

“Instead of always picking on MCA, I urge him to stop trying to evade the issue and take a good look at the actions of PKR and its supreme leader Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim in forcing a by-election simply in order to resolve their own party’s internal dispute.

“What is DAP’s stand on this unreasonable and unfair excuse given by Anwar?" he added.

Chong also questioned Kit Siang's continued silence over the raid held by the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (JAIS) on the Bible Society of Malaysia, despite the fact that the Selangor state government is under Pakatan Rakyat.

Chong also said that Kit Siang remained quiet on the incident in Penang, when Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng received many criticisms from the public for changing his official car after only two months.

“Now we can also see Kit Siang keeping mum while PKR insults our democratic process by purposely creating a by-election in Kajang to resolve their problems,” he said.
