Bazaar Ramadan is a regular feature during the holy month and something that all Malaysians regardless of race, religion and creed look forward to.

As such, the local councils have came up with approved locations for these famous Bazaars.

In Kuala Lumpur, the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has approved a total of 18 locations for these Bazaars with 2,187 stalls.

Bandar Baru Sentul has been allocated with 205 Ramadan stalls.

In Ampang, the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) has approved a total of 24 locations with 1,626 stalls.

MPAJ, in a statement said a few locations from previous years were not approved to be part of the Ramadan Bazaar this year because they were not a hit with visitors.

“These areas include Taman Bukit Segar, Taman Bukit Mewah, Pandan Perdana and Pandan Prima,” said MPAJ.
MPAJ also said that several Bazaars are relocated due to unavoidable circumstances.

“We relocated the Pandan Mewah Bazaar to Jalan Mewah 4 and the Pusat Bandar Melawati Parking Bazaar to Jalan Melawati 1A and Lorong Perak,” said MPAJ adding that the Bazaars will be open until Aug 7.

In Petaling Jaya, the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) has allocated 20 locations with 1,662 stalls.

The locations include Lembah Subang, Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara, Prime Damansara, Desa Mentari and Jalan Othman Bus Station.
