Zaidatul Husniah is fastest Malaysian woman
National sprint queen, Zaidatul Husniah Zulkifli finally broke the 24-year-old record in the women's 100-metre event at the ASA Speed Series 2 Championship at Bloemfontein, South Africa, early this morning.
Zaidatul Husniah, 24, set a time of 11.45 seconds with a speed assistance of 0.4 seconds, thus erasing the old record of 11.50 seconds recorded by G. Shanti at the SEA Pre-Games Championship in Kuala Lumpur on May 7, 1993.
PDRM denies shopping malls have become target of terrorist groups
The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has denied a message via social media that shopping malls and public places have become the target of terrorist groups.
Head of Corporate Communications of Inspector General of Police Secretariat, SAC Datin Asmawati Ahmad said the message spread via WhatsApp also claimed the government had issued a warning and urged the public to be alert.
U.S. says 'all options on table' to deal with North Korea
The United States on Wednesday said "all options are on the table" to deal with North Korea and dismissed China's suggestion of a "dual suspension" of U.S. and South Korea military drills and Pyongyang's missile and nuclear tests.

Malaysia has warned that an investigation into the murder of the North Korean leader's half brother "may take longer than what we hope," as Pyongyang ally China said on Wednesday that no international action should be considered until it is finished.
Malaysia has said assassins used VX nerve agent, a chemical listed by the United Nations as a weapon of mass destruction, to kill Kim Jong Un's estranged half-brother, Kim Jong Nam, at Kuala Lumpur International Airport on Feb. 13.
Nike to launch high-tech hijab for female Muslim athletes
NIKE Inc will launch a hijab for female Muslim athletes early next year, becoming the first major sports apparel maker to offer a traditional Islamic head scarf designed specifically for competition, the company said on Wednesday.
The head covering, marketed under the "Pro Hijab" brand, is designed to allow athletes to observe the traditional Islamic practice of covering the head without compromising performance.
