Relay for Life Malaysia (RFL) organised by the National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM ) is a fun filled event which brings people together to raise funds to decrease the incidence of cancer in Malaysia.

RFL also runs in Penang & Melaka and is an international fundraising and community-based effort to raise awareness over 16 hours while engaging in various activities throughout the event, namely the popular ‘Survivors Lap’ and ‘Luminaria’.

RFL currently runs in 22 countries worldwide.

RFL’s main objectives is to raise cancer awareness as well as to fundraise for cancer societies/NGOs around the world.

This year, RFL KL will be held from 6pm on 24th August till 10am on 25th August at Dataran Petaling Jaya, opposite Amcorp Mall.

All contributions and donations to RFL KL 2013 will be used to continue funding our many subsidised services at our 5 centres and outreach cancer awareness and education programmes.

What happens at Relay? YOU walk the track to show your support for the cancer survivor’s journey and you can also light Luminaria bags to remember loved ones who have lost the battle.

There’s also NCSM’s cancer awareness and education booths for you to learn about cancer and how to try and prevent it through early detection and screening.

It is a high-spirited event where everyone in the community can join in the fight against cancer. It is a day filled with fun, comradeship and festivities.
