A Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) senior officer's quarters in Jalan Pantai, here was destroyed in a fire this morning.

However, there were no casualties reported in the incident that occurred at about 6.28am.

During the incident, the two-storey house was unoccupied as the occupants were overseas.

Two fire engines with 17 firemen from the Port Dickson and Telok Kemang Fire and Rescue Stations rushed to the scene shortly after receiving the emergency call.

The operations commander, who is also the head of the Port Dickson Fire and Rescue Station, Sabri Roslan said when the firemen arrived, the blaze was spreading and the firemen took 10 minutes to control the fire.

"The cause of the fire and total losses were being investigated," he said when contacted.
