Astro AWANI was told that several leaders from Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) and PKR will also be there.

Amanah Deputy President, Salahuddin Ayub confirmed that he would be among the opposition leaders, together with the party president.

"Mohamad Sabu and I will be there," he told Astro AWANI in a brief message.

On Thursday, PKR Vice President, Nurul Izzah Anwar said the meeting with Tun Mahathir today was aimed at forming a collaboration to ‘save Malaysia’, in reference to several critical national issues.

"This is not personal, not vengeance, not anger. It’s about handling problems and scandals in Malaysia by taking concrete measures to implement reform,” said the Lembah Pantai MP.

Meanwhile, former PAS vice president, Datuk Mahfuz Omar said he would attend in a personal capacity.

"I will also join in this declaration even though PAS has announced that it would not be involved. I will be there, not to represent the party, but as a Malaysian citizen," he said, as quoted by Malaysiakini.
