Police are looking into the catering and cleaning companies servicing Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to shed more light into the disappearance of flight MH370.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said the move is to ensure that all angles are thoroughly investigated.

However, he declined to reveal more information on the probe.

So far, the police have recorded more than 200 statements in connection with the MH370 investigations including family members of passengers and crew of MH370.

Khalid told reporters at the closing ceremony of sepak takraw and netball IGP Cup championships at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), Sintok, Kedah.
