Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem today announced his new Cabinet line-up at a media conference at the State Legislative Assembly Building here.

Adenan himself holds two portfolios namely Finance Minister, and Resource Planning and Environment Minister.

He also named three deputy chief ministers (DCMs). They are Bukit Saban assemblyman Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah, Baleh assemblyman Tan Sri Dr James Jemut Masing and Satok assemblyman Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg.

Uggah has also been appointed Modernisation of Agriculture and Rural Economy Minister while Masing, who is former state Land Development Minister, is now the Infrastructure Development and Transportation Minister.

Abang Johari also assumes the posts of Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister as well as Housing and Urbanisation Minister.

Sarawak United People's Party (SUPP) president and Batu Kawah assemblyman, Datuk Prof Dr Sim Kui Hian has been appointed as Local Government Minister while former United People's Party president and Bawang Assan assemblyman, Datuk Seri Wong Soon Koh as Second Finance Minister.

The other appointments are Tebedu assemblyman Datuk Seri Michael Manyin Jawong (Youth, Sports and Solidarity Minister); Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan who won the Bukit Sari seat uncontested is the Minister of Industrial and Entrepreneur Development, Trade and Investment.

The sole woman in the Cabinet, Dalat assemblyman Datuk Fatimah Abdullah, has been appointed Welfare, Women and Community Wellbeing Minister while Sarawak Barisan Nasional secretary-general and Kemena assemblyman Datuk Stephen Rundi Utom has been appointed Public Utilities Minister.

Adenan said he would appoint the assistant ministers in due course.
