DAP adviser Lim Kit Siang said that a political realignment through an establishment of a new movement was crucial to ensure continuity of the Common Policy Framework (CPF) between the party, PAS and PKR.

He said they could continue with the CPF without the Pakatan Rakyat for as long as they shared the same objective.

"This is a challenge and I am confident we can do it through a new movement," he told reporters after a breaking of fast programme at Taman Indah Jaya here last night.

Lim, who is Gelang Patah Member of Parliament said PAS there would be room for PAS to work with DAP in the new movement if the party (PAS) had not forsaken the CPF.

"If not, we will have problems. From now on, our main agenda is for the people's well-being, economy, education and health," he added.
