National number one squash player, Ong Beng Hee's 2013 Men's World Championships campaign in Manchester, England was shattered by an Egyptian player in the second round.

In the second round match held at the National Squash Centre in Manchester on Tuesday, the 33-year seasoned campaigner lost 5-11, 4-11, 11-13 against 11th seed, Omar Mosaad in just 44 minutes.

The 25-year old Egyptian however, will face a stern test against world number four, Nick Matthew of England, in the third round on Wednesday.

Matthew, the two-time world champion booked his berth in the third round after easily dispatching Max Lee of Hong Kong 11-7, 11-6, 11-6.

National number Mohd Nafiizwan Adnan will take on Australian 14th seed, Cameron Pilley in the second round.
