After eight years on ABC on "Desperate Housewives," Felicity Huffman is set for a return to TV. The actress who played Lynette Scavo will again play a housewife in a pilot Fox is working on entitled "Boomerang."

Her part will be completely different from the one she played between 2004 and 2012 in Marc Cherry's series. Huffman will play Margie Hamilton, a seemingly normal mother who is actually an assassin working for the government.

She will have to balance her family life and her job as a spy, in which she has mastered all the arts of disguise.

Huffman is the first actress to have been recruited for "Boomerang," which was written by Davey Holmes, the screenwriter of "Damages," "Pushing Daisies" and "In Treatment."
