British actress Keira Knightley will star in and produce a thriller taking place in 1920s New York, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Based on the novel by Suzanne Rindell, "The Other Typist" will tell the story of a typist for the New York police who specializes in taking depositions from victims and criminals.
Her world changes after she meets a co-worker who introduces her to New York's alluring nightlife and underworld.
