Police are searching for an Indonesian woman believed to have been the culprit behind the kidnapping of a 12-year-old dyslexic girl.

Subang Jaya District Chief police, Commissioner Assistant Mohammad Azlin Sadari said the disappearance of the Indonesian woman and the girl caught the attention of the parents at 5am on Tuesday after the suspect was informed that she would be sent to the Indonesian embassy.

“The girl's mother fetched the suspect, who was alone at the bus stop in front of Subang Parade around midnight.

“The suspect was then taken to the teenager's house in SS19 here for temporary shelter before she is sent off to the embassy," said Mohammad Azlin.

He said, the suspect introduced herself as Azizah, 18 from Sumatera, Indonesia.

"The suspect disclosed to the victim's mother that she did not have a handphone and passport,” said Mohammad Azlin

The case is being investigated under Section 363 Penal Code for kidnapping from legitimate guardian.
