Former Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin gave a special press conference at his residence this morning, a day after his dismissal from the Cabinet.

Muhyiddin says the explanation given on the 1MDB issue was not sufficient. More video clips to follow.

12:26PM: The former number two says he will continue to work with Datuk Seri Najib Razak as it was his duty and responsibility to help the UMNO president.

12:20PM: When asked on his attendance at the Cheras UMNO division meeting last Sunday night, where he stated his stand on the 1MDB issue, Muhyiddin says he will continue to do his duty if there are invitations.

12:19PM: Muhyiddin, who is Pagoh MP, says many are still shocked from him being dropped from Cabinet. But as UMNO deputy chairman, he will continue to be responsible towards his duties in the party.

11.45AM: Muhyiddin arrives for the media conference, Channel News Asia tweets. He begins addressing the Press by saying that he does not know if there will be a vote of no-confidence against Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
