Malaysia's commitment in battling graft in Asia has become the main reason it was chosen to host the International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC) in September.

Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) deputy commissioner Datuk Mustafar Ali said the four-day anti-graft conference is expected to gather experts from all over the world, sharing the latest information on the progress and challenges of the issue.

"It's an honour to have Malaysia as the host for the 16th IACC.

"This year's IACC will see up to 1,000 participants from 130 countries will taking part in the conference, exchanging global experiences and effective methods in battling corruption," he told a press conference at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) today.
