Almost 100 apartment residents in Kayu Ara and Kota Damansara today staged another peaceful demonstration in front of the Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) headquarters here, asking for PKNS to take over their housing loans and arrears totalling RM700,000.

Kota Damansara residents' representative Ahmad Fuad Pandak Ahmad, 60, and Kayu Ara residents' representative, Mohd Yusop Mohd, 57, also handed over a memorandum on the matter to PKNS Public Relations Manager Ishak Hashim at 11.10am.

Ahmad Fuad said they were seeking justice from the opposition-led Selangor government, which had used PKNS in taking over Talam Corporation Berhad's debt, to order PKNS to settle residents' outstanding housing loans.

He said this was because the residents comprised mostly those from the low-income group.

Prior to this, residents of PKNS apartment in various locations in the state had also staged similar demonstrations.
