The remains of American pilot Captain Clifford William Fournier was claimed by his family members on Monday.

A spokesperson from the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) said the remains were claimed by his family members who arrived at the hospital at 8.15pm.

Fournair was among the six people who perished in the Semenyih helicopter crash last Saturday.

Besides the pilot, the remains of four others on board the helicopter - Rompin MP Tan Sri Jamaluddin Jarjis, the Prime Minister’s senior private secretary Datuk Seri Azlin Alias, SP Baiduri Sdn Bhd CEO Datuk Tan Huat Seang and Jamaluddin's bodyguard Corporal Razkan Seran who died in the 4.55pm crash have also been claimed.

As for the sixth passenger identified as a Kyrgyzstan national, Aidana Baizieva, the HKL spokesperson said that "the status of her body is still awaiting DNA confirmation" .

It was reported that a woman believed to be Aidana's sister had arrived at the hospital on Monday to claim her body .

All six victims onboard the AS3655N2 Dauphi (9M-1GB) helicopter, crashed in a rubber smallholding in Kampung Sungai Pening, Semenyih at 4.55pm on Saturday.

They were on their way home to Subang after attending the wedding reception of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak's daughter in Taman Tasik Sultan Abu Bakar, Pekan, Pahang.
