The Member of Parliament (MP) for Gua Musang, Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah said he had no problem with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, although there were talks that some people wanted him to
hold the country's 'number one' post.

Tengku Razaleigh, who is also Gua Musang UMNO division head, said he had cordial relations with the Prime Minister and that he frequently held meetings with Najib.

"I had met the Prime Minister last Sunday. There is no end to the rumour," he told reporters after officiating the delegates meeting of the Gua Musang UMNO division at Dewan Bukit Chekati, here today.

Also present was Gua Musang UMNO division deputy head Datuk Nozula Mat Diah.

Tengku Razaleigh, or better known as Ku Li, also reiterated his stand that he would not be contesting in the 14th General Election (GE14) and that the current term would be his last as the Gua Musang MP.

"I am not retiring (from politics) but I don't want to contest (as the MP for Gua Musang). I have already informed Najib. I feel this is my last term and I hope they all understand," he said.
