The new central PAS Youth committee will comprise leaders from different backgrounds and not only from the religious group.

The movement's new chief, Nik Mohamad Abduh Nik Abdul Aziz said the new lineup would be a combination of those with religious education, professionals and activists from various fields.

"We will fully complete the appointments for the committee and portfolios at the second meeting of the movement and after concluding a series of visits to several states for the purpose of 'bottom-up management review' during Ramadan," he said in his latest entry on his Facebook page Tuesday.
