The government should include an "early termination" clause for the country's future highway projects, said Selangor Menteri Besar Mohamed Azmin Ali.

According to a Malaysiakini report, the Menteri Besar said that if the concessionaires gain enough profit before the project ends, the agreement should be terminated early.

Mohamed Azmin was replying to a question by PKR Batu Tiga assemblyman, Rodziah Ismail

Rodziah had asked the state government to state its position on the federal government's plan to build four new highways in the state.

The highways include Sungai Besi-Ulu Kelang Elevated Expressway (Suke), West Coast Expressway, Damansara-Puchong Expressway (Dash), and Eastern Klang Valley Expressway (EKVE).
