Newly elected vice-president of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) Dr Radzi Jidin today thanked all the delegates for their confidence and trust in him to be in the party's Supreme Leadership Council for the term 2019-2022.

The Senior Minister (Education) in a posting on his Facebook page also congratulated all Bersatu leaders and delegates nationwide on the success of conducting meetings in their respective divisions.

"I would like to thank the delegates who have given me the space and opportunity to serve as Bersatu vice-president. I accept this responsibility with full conviction and will carry it out the best I can," he said.

Meanwhile, Datuk Seri Dr Ronald Kiandee, who has also been elected as the party's vice-president, expressed his appreciation to the delegates and vowed to carry out the trust responsibly in empowering the party, the people and the country.

"This is a huge responsibility, and I will continue to strive to give my best to the party's success," the Agriculture and Food Industry Minister said on his official social media page.

Earlier, Bersatu election committee chairman Tan Sri Syed Hamid Albar announced that Radzi, Kiandee and Paya Rumput assemblyman Datuk Mohd Rafiq Naizamohideen have been elected as the party's three vice-presidents.
