Selangor head coach Zainal Abidin Hassan urged his side to fully utilise home ground advantage to pick up three points against S-League side, Tampines Rovers in their second Asian Football Confederation (AFC Cup) Group E match at the Selayang Stadium, tomorrow.

The former international, however, noted that it would be a tough battle against V. Sundramoorthy's side which is beefed up with a scores of now disbanded Lions XII players who won the Super League title in the M-League back in 2013.

"Preparations are going well and all the players have realised the glaring mistakes they conceded in the previous match and I'm confident they would put up a good show against Tampines," he told a pre-match press conference, here today.

Zainal hopes his boys would forget their unexpected 1-2 loss to Police in the FA Cup four days ago, and fully focus on the task overcoming the side that will be buoyed by a comfortable 4-0 win over Bangladesh's Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club in their opening group match at the Jalan Besar Stadium on Feb 23.

He said all players were fit for tomorrow's match, except striker Ahmad Hazwan Bakri and Australian defender Robert Cornwaithe, who are still nursing injuries but expected to recover soon.

Meanwhile, Sundramoorthy who will be vying to sneak a point from the match, did not rule out the possibility that former Liverpool star, Jermaine Pennant would feature in tomorrow's match despite picking up a few knocks during the team's 1-1 draw against Home United in a S-League match on Thursday.

"Looking at the Selangor players right now, it certainly would not be an easy match for us but we will try our best to take a point," said the former Singapore international.

Sharing his views was captain, Mustafic Fahrudin who hopes his teammates to do well against Selangor who are expected to bank on the home fans to boost their confidence in tomorrow's match.

"It's going to be a tough match but we hope to get a good result after securing a 4-0 win in our first match against the Bangladesh club," said Mustafic who played for the Singapore national since from 2007-2012.

Tampines Rovers are currently at the top of the Group E while Selangor are in third place after playing one match each.
