In a press statement, JACC said this latest development is indicative of the resolution and quality of the data and that is revealing important detail of the seafloor.
The Fugro Equator vessel continues to conduct bathymetric survey work in the search area.
"To date, around 200,000 square kilometres of the search area have been surveyed. Over 9,000 square kilometres of the seafloor have been surveyed," the statement said.
The Fugro Equator is expected to return to Fremantle in Perth, Australia in mid-December.

The third vessel, Fugro Discovery, arrived back in the search area on Dec 4 and will continue with underwater search operations.
Flight MH370, which was carrying 227 passengers and 12 crew members left the Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 12.41am on March 8, disappeared from radar about an hour later while over the South China Sea.
It was to have arrived in Beijing, China at 6.30am on the same day.
The search for the aircraft is ongoing, with no concrete evidence being found yet.
