Astro Malaysia Holdings Berhad (Astro) has launched its digital marketing arm, to be named Blaze Digital.

Blaze will offer an integrated digital-first solutions for marketers around the Astro’s universe of brands.

Some notable brands that will benefit from the Blaze Digital offerings are the news arm – Astro AWANI, the Chinese Offering – Xuan, the Malay entertainment arm – Astro Gempak, the general entertainment portal – Rojak Daily and more.

On social media, Blaze Digital has an average of 20 million users and has a reach of over 100 million people across the globe, predominantly on Facebook, monthly. This will help business users connect with the vast majority of content consumers, as well as content creators collectively.

Blaze Digital general manager Jayaram Nagaraj or Junior told Astro AWANI that Astro is building its value by leveraging its strength on the multiple brands that it carries.

“Astro will continue to introduce new and innovative digital content that can travel regionally to both users in Malaysia and beyond,” he said.

Astro always had the region on its crosschairs and supplements this views with offerings like Raku and Astro AWANI.

Blaze Digital is a local platform designed for local brands.

Junior said they have locked in popular local publishers such as Siakap Keli, MakChic, Nak Bebel, Tongue in Chic, Islam Itu Indah and more.

He is confident that these touch points will generate the necessary buzz to boost Astro’s digital presence across the board.
