BMW Group Malaysia is optimistic of double-digit growth in the sales of its vehicles next year.

The group's Managing Director Dr Gerhard Pils said that as of November this year, BMW had sold 6,162 vehicles from the BMW, MINI and Motorrad range, compared with the 5,166 units in the same period of 2011.

"We are targeting to achieve double-digit growth for BMW vehicles throughout Malaysia next year," he said at the launch of the new MINI dealership in partnership with Ingress Auto in Bangsar, here Friday.

"We believe with the extra efforts being put in place, we can achieve the growth target," he added.

Pils also said BMW Malaysia would be expanding its Sales, Service, Systems and Spare-Parts(4S) facilities in Kota Kinabalu, Penang, Kuching and Setia Alam in the third quarter of next year.
