Puncak Niaga Holdings Bhd (PNHB) says it would require full and complete information on the take over offer made by Kumpulan Darul Ehsan Bhd (KDEB) on two of its subsidiaries before it is able to table the final proposal to its board of directors.

The take over targets are Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd and Puncak Niaga (M) Sdn Bhd.

KDEB made the take over offer on behalf of the Selangor government.

In a statement, PNHB said it was currently studying KDEB's responses, together with its adviser, following a meeting attended by representatives of both sides on March 1.

PNHB said the meeting was held at its request.

At the meeting, PNHB said its representatives were handed a letter dated Feb 28, which was in response to its Feb 27 letter to KDEB.

However, PNHB said several queries it raised were not fully answered by KDEB and some of the issues were referred to Pengurusan Aset Air Bhd (PAAB).

PNHB, yesterday sent a letter to PAAB requesting it to clarify the issues.
