KUALA LUMPUR: Minds for Malaysia (M4M) is targeting the participation of about 25,000 youths in and outside the country aged between 18 and 35, in its Youth Empowerment Fair, which will be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre next month.

Themed 'Charting the Future' the programme which will take place from Nov 5 to Nov 6 is to inspire and educate youths as well as help them build their portfolios.

M4M chairman Senator Datuk Mohd Ridhwan Mohd Ali said the event which is aimed at providing suitable career options for young people, will also be attended by industry leaders.

"They will share their experience and provide guidance to assist participants in becoming entrepreneurs and leaders so that they can contribute positively to society and economic development.

"About 50 organisations will take part in the fair consisting of government agencies, government-linked companies and private companies," he told Bernama yesterday.

Participants will attend forums, interview sessions and workshops during the programme, he added.
