Deputy Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Hilmi Yahaya has advised Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng to focus on his duties and responsibilities and not to interfere in other people's affairs.

"The Penang Chief Minister has urged the MACC to arrest me. I find it strange. As the Chief Minister, he should check his facts before talking," he said after opening the Penang TNB Strategic Business Partner Association, here on Saturday.

Guan Eng had urged the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to probe Dr Hilmi for allegedly providing support and assistance to an individual who conducted an illegal denture business.

Dr Hilmi said in the case (assisting a dentist), he only sought clarification and did not give instructions.

"This is not the same as the case of Phee Boon Poh (Penang Exco) who was arrested by the MACC to assist investigation in connection with an illegal factory in Sungai Lembu," he added.
