The emotions of losing your loved ones are way too painful to describe.

For Nur Firuza Amira, seven and her four-year-old sister, Nur Firuza Aqila, the pain of losing their parents in the fatal tragedy on the Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway (DUKE) early Saturday morning will never fade from their memories. The unbearable grief will linger and they just have to learn to live with the scars in their hearts.

When faced with a loss, some people need time to deal with it. It’s said that time heals all wounds.

Their parents Fairuz Nizam Husain and Nova Safitri Azhari died in the fatal accident on DUKE which also claimed the life of their seven-month-old sister, Nur Firuza Annisa.

Puteri UMNO chief, Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsudin during her visit to the victims’ resident in Taman Batu Muda here said her brief chat with Nur Firuza Amira was one of the most touching moments in her life.

She recalled, the saddest part was when Amira placed her hands on her head, kissed her so gently, as a gesture for Mas Ermieyati to stay.

“The saddest part was when she kissed my head. She really loved the doll I gave her. I hope the girls will be strong and that the society will continue to shower them with love and give them genuine affection,” said Mas Ermieyati to Astro AWANI, today.

According to Mas Ermieyati, Amira casually whispered to her. And what she told Mas Ermieyati touched her heart when she said she a big dream of becoming a specialist doctor when she grows up.

“Amira said her sister’s ambition is to become a dentist. I adviced her to study hard and to chase her dream persistently.

“She nodded as though she understood what I had just told her. I pray to Allah that it will all be a smooth sailing affair for the child,” said Mas Ermieyati, her voice trembling to hold back her tears.

Mas Ermieyati also said that she adviced Amira to look after her sister and nurture her to excel in her education.

In the 1.05am incident, a four-wheel drive Pajero Sport which her father was driving hit by two units of Perodua Myvi before it overturned on the highway.
