Penang police chief Datuk Abdul Rahim Hanafi has described the Bukit Gelugor by-election as the most comfortable and manageable by election for him.

However, he said traffic is expected to be heavy from 11am until evening as Bukit Gelugor has a high number of voters.

As such, he advised voters and road users to adhere to instructions by the traffic police to ensure a smooth traffic flow.

On his team's preparation, Abdul Rahim said the police had been stationed in some locations as early as 6am. They will ensure that the safety level is good and controlled, he added.
