ISTANBUL: All delegates involved in the Break The Siege: Freedom Flotilla to Gaza mission are asked to return to their respective countries after the Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC) is unable to proceed with the aid delivery mission to Gaza at the moment.

According to the FFC Steering Committee Member, Ann Wright, they will inform all involved delegates of the latest developments once the final sailing date is determined.

"We suggest that all of participants to return to your respective countries first, and we will inform the participants from time to time if there are any new developments.

"As soon as we can register the involved ships anew, all of those who were supposed to start this voyage with us will be informed first," she said.

Wright made the statement during a briefing session with all involved delegates here, late on Friday.

Earlier, the government of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau was reported to have submitted to and agreed with Israel's demand not to allow the Break The Siege: Freedom Flotilla to Gaza sailing mission to use their flag.

At the same time, the Republic of Guinea-Bissau presented trivial conditions by requesting the FFC to sign documents certifying that they would not use the passenger ship to send aid to Gaza.

Furthermore, they also requested that the port authorities for the final destination provide certification documents to confirm the final location of the ship's voyage.

The sailing dates for all three ships involved in this mission have been changed several times.

It involves one cargo ship with a load of 5,000 tons and two passenger ships capable of carrying over 1,000 people.

These ships will carry urgently needed humanitarian aid such as medical supplies, food packages, clothing, shelter tents, and several vehicles including eight ambulances.
