A school hostel supervisor today appealed to the public to help find his daughter who went missing after going for tuition class in Jerteh yesterday afternoon.

Wan Azmi Mohamad, 51, said his daughter, Wan Wardah Balqist, 14, is a Form 2 student at a religious school in Jerteh.

He said her older brother had sent her to the tuition centre at 9am but she was not there when he went back to pick her up at noon.

"I hope the people can help because my daughter has a bone disease and had undergone seven operations on her leg," he said when State Health, Women, Family and Community Development Committee chairman Muhammad Pahimi Yusof called at his home in Kampung Gong Kemuntong, Jerteh.

Wan Azmi said a police report was lodged at the Jerteh police station last night, and hoped that those who knew the whereabouts of his daughter would contact him at 011-14980464 or inform the nearest police station.
