The Sultan of Pahang, Sultan Ahmad Shah, is in good health and is just resting at the National Heart Institute (IJN), Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob said Sunday.
"Tuanku Sultan is in the best of health. Tuanku is resting at IJN because his medical records are there," he said.
Questions were raised as to the health of Sultan Ahmad Shah after photographs of the ruler at IJN were circulated on social websites such as Facebook from last Friday.
Adnan said he hoped that those circulating the photographs would stop doing do.
"I feel it is unnecessary to share the photographs of Tuanku at IJN on Facebook and blogs because we have to accord respect to the privacy of an individual, more so of a sultan," he said.
"Tuanku Sultan is in the best of health. Tuanku is resting at IJN because his medical records are there," he said.
