Muslims in Malaysia today celebrate Hari Raya Aidiladha in moderation.

They started the day by performing prayers at mosques throughout the nation.

Aidiladha, or the "Feast of Sacrifice", marks the end of the annual hajj or pilgrimage to Mecca.

Meanwhile, many took advantage of the long weekend to travel to their hometowns. Some 2 million vehicles flooded major highways and expressways causing heavy traffic in certain areas.

Astro Awani would like to wish all of our readers Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha.
