The Federal Territories Ministry will review the schedule and routes of the Nadi Putra bus services to ensure a more efficient service, particularly at peak times, to address complaints from consumers.

Its Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor said although efforts have been made to ensure the best services for the operations schedule and routing, there was room for improvement.

"I have also received grouses about buses that are not on time, so we will see the most appropriate methods to solve the problem," he told reporters after a briefing from Pengangkutan Awam Putrajaya Sdn Bhd (PAPSB), here, today.

He said the ministry would gather and compile information and feedback from the public through a questionnaire to assist the management in providing services that meet the needs of consumers.

"In the questionnaire, the public can also give their views on the proposals to raise fares to RM1 as well as salary of bus drivers," he said, adding that the current fare was RM0.50 cent with the amount of subsidies provided by the government at RM3 per passenger.

In addition, Nadi Putra's management will also review the need to extend Nadi Putra services to other areas such as Kajang and Bangi to facilitate those who live outside Putrajaya.

On the monorail services, he said a research found that the total population of 80,000 in Putrajaya, has yet to reach the ideal amount to set up the services as the ideal population was 500,000.
