RafiziRamli and Pakatan Harapan leadership have been challenged to bring up the issue of corruption involving the Selangor state administration, as alleged by thePandanMP previously.

Pro-BN NGO coalition and UMNO Grassroot Movement (GAUM) president, Zulkarnain Mahdar, criticisedthe PKR secretary-general and the opposition leadership for keeping silent over the matter.

"It is already known that RafizihadonMay 30 lodged a report with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) on the corruption issue.

"It is not fair for Rafizi and other Pakatan Harapan leaders to act like champions and picking on the Barisan Nasional government'swrongdoings butwhen corruptioninvolvetheir stategovernment theyare quiet about it," he said in a statement here, Saturday.

Zulkarnainsaid Rafizi and the Pakatan Harapanleadershipexplanation that they were maintaining their silence because the case was being investigated by the MACC, was just a lame excuse.

"When the 1MDB case was still being investigated by the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) and the National Audit Department, Rafizi and Pakatan leaders continued attacking the government, infact evenwhen the case was completed and the official report was out they did not stop," he said.

However, Zulkarnain said Rafizi and the opposition were seen to be silent when the corruption cases involved the government under their own party.

"If this is their political style, then they cannot claim to be champions of integrity," he said.

Recently, some news portal reported that corruption was beingpractisedin the administration of the Selangor state government.

The reports came following a leakedscreen shotof Rafizi's conversation in a WhatsApp chat group that was circulatedonsocial media about allegations of graft and requests for women in dealings with the Selangor state government.

Rafizialso lodged a report at the MACC headquarters in Putrajaya on the alleged misconducts in addition to submitting information and evidence of individuals allegedly involved.
